What are the activities of Stars for Europe?

Focus on consumer communication

More than 5.000 consumer media outlets all over Europe receive up to date press information and pictures. Mainly print media but also many TV-stations, online media and radio stations use our information. In 2009, the Public Relations activities of Stars for Europe resulted in features on poinsettias in almost 3.000 publications.

For journalists, Stars for Europe has developed the picture web-database www.starsforeurope.com  in 13 languages.

For consumers there is a website in 8 languages.

Target group retailers

Retailers are an important target group for the Stars for Europe activities. In a number of countries, Stars for Europe has developed attractive promotion material in conjunction with its cooperation partners.

A poster containing storage care instructions was developed for Danish producers, which is currently being translated into German, English and French. However, in the download area, an open file is available which can be accessed in any other language. In addition, the quality icons can be downloaded and used free of charge.

The general campaign, as well as the PR based individual country campaigns in Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Greece, Italy, Spain and Switzerland are developed by Weber Shandwick.
